Shanling ONIX Zenith XDA20: Cutting-edge technology
The heart of the XDA20 is based on a dual ESS ES9039Pro chip, capable of processing PCM streams up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512 files with exemplary precision. This dual DAC chip is supported by a proprietary ‘Brighton’ I/V architecture developed in-house by Shanling, using 8 OPA1611s to ensure rich, detailed sound reproduction with an expansive soundstage and impressive dynamics.
Amplification is handled by a TPA6120 chip, renowned for its ability to deliver smooth, controlled sound, even on demanding headphones. The XDA20 can deliver up to 1620mW at 32Ω, with a comfortable power reserve.
The unit is powered by a silent, high-quality power supply section based on two Talema transformers (25W and 15W), supported by four 3300uF / 63V capacitors, for stable, noise-free regulation.
Shanling ONIX Zenith XDA20: Complete and flexible connectivity
Designed to fit into any type of setup, the Zenith XDA20 offers three distinct output modes: Pre-out, Line-out and headphone amplification, which can be easily selected depending on use. It features a particularly rich set of digital connections, including a USB-B input, an I2S input via HDMI, a coaxial RCA, an optical Toslink, as well as BNC and AES/EBU connectors. On the output side, it offers single-ended RCA and balanced XLR connections on the rear panel, while the front panel receives a 6.35 mm jack headphone output, ensuring great versatility for both headphone listening and integration into a larger hi-fi system.

The Zenith XDA20 features a robust and elegant CNC aluminium chassis, echoing the distinctive black and gold design of the ONIX series. The sleek front panel houses a 3.4-inch colour touchscreen, complemented by a navigation wheel for smooth and intuitive operation. A remote control is also provided for wireless control.
