Rooted in the mid-century modern movement, the design of the 105 Silva follows the fundamental principles of clean form, functionality and durability, while seamlessly integrating natural and modern materials into its construction. Fusing vintage charm with contemporary aesthetics, the radial grille intertwines sublimely with walnut wood to form the ear cups, creating a feel that never really ages. The flexible steel headband and PVD-coated cast zinc alloy components form an extremely robust, yet highly flexible structure.

In order to achieve a sound suitable for audiophiles and music lovers alike, numerous 50mm drivers have been tested, with different materials and tuning methods. The result is designed to satisfy the widest possible range of musical genres.
W shaped diaphragm
Made from a carbon-fiber-reinforced cellulose composite, the diaphragm can reproduce high frequencies with incredible precision, clarity and definition. Not only more durable than conventional materials used in conventional dynamic loudspeakers, but also lighter, this composite reduces resonances that can lead to harmonic distortion.
Titanium-plated torus
The torus surrounding the membrane is made of a titanium-coated semi-crystalline polymer, designed to optimize rigidity, speed and tonal balance. The titanium coating, applied by physical vapor deposition (PVD), reinforces the structure of the diaphragm while keeping it light, guaranteeing rapid transient response and pleasantly textured bass.
The torus features grooves precisely positioned at an angle of 45.5°, effectively controlling resonances and enabling the driver to reproduce sound with precision and fluidity.
Stabilized loudspeaker
The copper-zinc alloy stabilizer, placed around the diaphragm, improves vibration absorption to further reduce distortion.
